Bo Modin
Founder and Managing Director of MODICA
Bo Modin, founder and Managing Director of Modica Healthcare in UAE, brings a wealth of experience of more than 35 years working in the healthcare segment in the Middle East.
As a regional Manager for Mölnlycke Healthcare, Bo established a comprehensive distribution network along with the regional office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he was lead negotiator for local manufacturing. During his tenure as OTC Business Unit Director at F.Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel, Switzerland, the sales increased from 8M to 54M in 5 years.
Based on several years working in the healthcare sector both in the Middle East and Europe, Bo Modin went on to found MODICA Healthcare in order to dedicate his expertise as a consultancy service for numerous businesses, thereby contributing his efforts to the vast development of the Healthcare sector in the region over the past 30 years.
Mohamed Amer
Lead Consultant at MODICA
Mohamed Amer brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the GCC healthcare sector. With a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cairo University, Egypt, Mohamed is known for his deep expertise and strategic acumen.

Marketing Leadership: As Marketing Manager for Aventis and Sanofi in the GCC, Mohamed successfully managed diverse business segments, launched blockbuster products, and achieved market leadership. In terms of driving revenue growth, he managed to double the revenue of Specialty Care products in three years to over €65M.
Strategic Advisor: At Modica, Mohamed leverages his extensive knowledge to advise and
support pharmaceutical and medical device companies, as well as healthcare stakeholders,
driving innovation and enhancing healthcare solutions in the region.
